What do I need to wear and bring to my first kickboxing lesson?
All you need is some comfortable clothes to train in - Jogging bottoms and t-shirt is fine. A bottle of water and a towel is optional.
Does the PKA have a uniform?
Yes. A free uniform is provided as part of the membership.
How much do PKA kickboxing classes cost?
5-16 years: £5.00 per class
NUS Holders: £5.00 per class
Adults: £6.00 per class
I have no martial arts experience, is this a problem?
Absolutely not. Our kickboxing classes are ideal for beginners. We start you off slowly teaching you the basic techniques. As your experience grows we show your more difficult techniques.
What kickboxing kit is needed?
The basic kit needed for kickboxing classes includes; boxing gloves, shin guards and kick boots.
If you wish to participate in sparing you will also need; a gum shield, head guard and groin guard (for men) or chest guard (for women).
Will I be Insured whilst training?
Yes. All members of the PKA will be covered.
